LEWISTON – Louise Sutton of Biddeford will be guest speaker of the Saints Peter and Paul Society on Sunday, Oct. 8, following the 8 a.m. breakfast in the Dominican Conference Room.

Sutton served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi, Africa, from 2003 to 2005. She worked in the health sector of the Peace Corps while living in a Malawian village and learning about their culture and way of life.

Sutton has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from St. Francis College in Biddeford and prior to her Peace Corps experience was in the insurance industry for 27 years, having worked at UNUM/Provident in Portland for 25 years and for GenRe in Stamford, Conn., for two years, focusing on long-term care underwriting. She also served as an hospice volunteer in New York and Maine between 1993 and 2000.
