Exchange Club gives help for kids’ festival

AUBURN – The Auburn Exchange Club has made a $500 donation to Advocates For Children to help sponsor the Holiday Festival for Children, to take place Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Multi-Purpose Center, Lewiston.

Along with singing and dancing with Rick Charette, children will celebrate the holiday season with crafts, games, face painting and posing for pictures with Santa.

The Exchange Club is an all-volunteer, national service organization for men and women who want to serve their community, develop leadership skills and enjoy new friendships.

Exchange is made up of some 900 clubs and 30,000 members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Exchange is a group of men and women working together to make communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, community service, youth activities and its national project, the prevention of child abuse.
