AUBURN – Gritty McDuff’s L/A Brew Pub announces that chef Greg Meisner is now managing the kitchen. A native of Turner, Meisner comes to Gritty’s after long stints at a handful of other local food establishments. He worked for eight years at Jungle Jim’s, followed by nine more years at the Auburn Café and Conference Center, and then two years as the executive chef at the Flying Lobster. Although Meisner can cook anything, he is well-known for his soups, chowders and sauces.

Meisner, who lives in Auburn, is also an accomplished musician. He plays rhythm guitar and sings lead vocals in the “Fireside Band.”
