AUBURN – Registrations are now being taken for the Auburn Rec Youth Basketball League. There will be assorted girls and boys divisions, as follows: Grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10.
Registration can be made at the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department at Hasty Community Center, or on-line at www.auburnmaine.org and following the link to the registration Web site.
Entry fee is $40 for Auburn residents and $50 for non-residents. Entry deadline is Oct. 27. The season runs from Nov. 4 to Feb. 11.
Player evaluations will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, as follows: Grades 5-6, girls, 9 a.m.; boys, 10:30; Grades 7-8, girls, 12 noon; boys, 1:30; Grades 9-10, girls, 3:00; boys, 4:30.

Coaches are also needced for the program. A mandatory meeting of prospective coaches is set for Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m.
