Citizens of Auburn, Durham and Poland are lucky. Lois Snowe-Mello is willing to serve in the Maine Senate again. I met her as I was completing 10 years in the Maine House. I saw qualities in her I believed would make a fine legislator, and history has proved me correct.

She has been resolute in opposing tax increases and insists on accountability for every tax dollar spent. She opposed automatic increases in the gas tax and works tirelessly for effective prioritization of state spending.

Along with fiscal restraint, Snowe-Mello is a strong advocate for programs aiding school children with vision problems, and has worked to provide citizens with serious health conditions access to affordable health insurance.

She is a dedicated and effective legislator who puts the best interest of Maine citizens first.

I wish I could vote for her and strongly encourage those able to do just that.
