ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) – The Detroit Lions placed running back Shawn Bryson on the injured reserve list Tuesday, and signed running back Arlen Harris.

The team also waived wide receiver Scottie Vines from the physically-unable-to-perform list, released tackle Clint Stickdorn from the practice squad and signed guard Stephen Peterman to the practice squad.

Bryson injured a knee in Sunday’s win over Buffalo. He had played in each of the Lions’ first six games and had 98 receiving yards on eight catches, including a 37-yard TD reception against Green Bay.

Harris spent the preseason with Detroit after signing with the Lions in March and was released before the regular-season opener.

Peterman was drafted by Dallas in the third round in 2004. He spent his rookie season on the injured reserve list after a knee injury in the Cowboys’ final preseason game.

Vines had been placed on the PUP list before training camp because of a knee injury. Stickdorn spent the preseason with Detroit and was signed to the practice squad in September.
