Our trivia pal Doug Schiller of Port Lavaca, Texas, once visited tiny Erick, Okla. (population about 1,000), where singer Sheb Wooley (of “Purple People Eater” fame) was born and singer Roger Miller (of “King of the Road” fame) grew up. He reports that the only two streets that intersect in the town are named for Miller and Wooley.
