WEST PARIS – The second annual West Paris Community Showcase and Craft Fair wiill be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Agnes Gray School gym, Main Street. At 5 p.m. a Christmas parade will form and proceed to the tree lighting.

Last years’ response was overwhelming. This year’s event will follow the same guidelines, with area businesses setting up displays and food booths, and local artisans selling their crafts.

Nonprofit organizations such as the American Legion and Auxiliary, the Boy and Girl Scouts, the Old Home Days Committee, the Derby Committee, area churches, the snowmobile club, the majorettes, the historical society and the athletic association, are invited to join as are all others who would like to participate.

Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will drop in to ask area children their Christmas wishes and to remind all that Santa is checking his list.

The fees collected will help with a community project. Display spaces will be $5 for those who supply their own table and $10 if the event committee supplies the table.
