Mrs. Cherie Ellis’s class in Carrie Ricker Middle School has been studying the six levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy because it encourages higher level thinking. Mrs. Ellis used a demonstration of baking cakes, showing how all 6 levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy would be touched upon. She then gave out several homework assignments that involved either recognizing tasks or questions over the six levels, or writing our own questions or tasks over each level. We will be making a poster of our own showing our understanding of all six levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy.
