LEWISTON – Jodie Dresser scored with 2:54 to play to lead New England College to a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Bates in field hockey action.
The Bobcats (5-8) led 2-1 on goals by Allison Marshall and Carolyn King. Bates controlled much of the game, but was stymied by NEC goalie Jaqui Parker, who made 15 saves. Sarah Sprague was credited with 12 saves for Bates.
NEC (16-2) won its eighth straight game.
