I enthusiastically support the candidacy of Richard Wagner for state representative in House District 73 in Lewiston. During the 25 years I have known him, I have been struck by his intellect, integrity and keen sense of fairness. He demonstrated a passion for excellence in his years on the Bates College faculty. During his later years as a court mediator, he displayed an uncommon ability to find sensible solutions to difficult problems, earning the respect of all he encountered.

We have an opportunity to help Wagner put his considerable talents to work for us all. He is offering realistic proposals to provide fair taxes, promote economic development, develop strong schools and protect our environment. Moreover, in today’s polarized political environment, he has the ability to bring people together. This is why I am supporting his candidacy to the Maine House of Representatives.
