MOULTONBOROUGH, N.H. – The wedding of Jennifer Lynn Sparks and Dennis Stephen Okenquist was held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2005, at Moultonborough United Methodist Church in Moultonborough, N.H. Pastor Kevin Bellinger officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Okenquist is the daughter of Jim and Lynn Sparks of Linwood, N.J. Mr. Okenquist is the son of Gary and Edie Okenquist of Bethel.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white satin gown with A-line skirt, embellished with small embroidered flowers and crystal beads on the bodice, which continued to the corset back and train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of red roses, white Calla lilies and white stephanotis.

A friend of the bride, Erin Turcotte, attended as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Shannon Fries, Lisa Edelman and Elizabeth Zader, friends. Dasia Allison, god-daughter of the bride, was flower girl.

Chris Maskwa performed the duties of best man for his friend, and ushers were John Cooley, Brett Wilson and Aric Walton, friends.

A reception followed at the Chase House at the Inn at Mill Falls in Meredith, N.H., after which the couple traveled to Hilton Head Island, S.C. They are residing in Nottingham, N.H.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Mainland Regional High School in Linwood, N.J., and a 2002 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in child development. She also earned her master’s degree in early childhood education, special needs, in 2004 at the University of New Hampshire. She is employed as a preschool special education teacher for SAD 44 in Northwood, N.H.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Telstar Regional High School and is currently taking classes for a degree in computer technologies/digital design at New Hampshire Community Technical College. He is employed at a local used car dealership as a service adviser.
