I am writing to support Sen. Peggy Rotundo. She is not afraid to rein in spending to eliminate waste, but won’t do so at the peril of those she serves. She always looks out for hardworking Maine families and the most vulnerable in the state – the elderly, disabled, children, and makes sure they are protected and noticed.

When the federal Medicare Part D prescription drug program was starting up last winter and seniors in this state couldn’t access medications that were critical to their health, Rotundo insisted prescriptions be provided to those whose lives depended upon them.

She works with people from all political persuasions in bipartisan ways to move the state forward.

I support Peggy Rotundo for another term in the state Senate.
