• Jolene MacIsaac, 25, Rumford, assault, at 3:35 p.m. Oct. 17 outside the Mexico Police Department entrance. She was released on $100 unsecured bail from the Mexico Police Department. She is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Dec. 5.

• Arica Downs, 20, Mexico, assault, at 3:35 p.m. Oct. 17 outside the Mexico Police Department entrance. She was released on $300 unsecured bail from the Mexico Police Department. She is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Dec. 5.

• Don Engberg, 18, Mexico, operating without a license, at 8:20 p.m. Oct. 23 on the River Road. He was released on $100 unsecured bail from the Mexico Police Department. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Dec. 5.

Accidents

A 1994 Plymouth van driven by Kathleen A. Williamson, 49, of Sun Valley Circle, Mexico, sustained about $1,000 damage when a deer ran out in front of it as Williamson was traveling south of Route 17 at 7 p.m. Oct. 26. The deer was killed instantly.

A 2004 Nissan pickup truck driven by Steve Maheux, no age available, of East Wilton, sustained about $700 damage when a deer ran out in front of it as Maheux was traveling east on Route 2 at 4 a.m. Oct. 30. Dixfield Police Officer Eric Bernier arrived on the scene first. Mexico Police Officer Dustin Broughton joined him. Both officers shot the injured deer.
