HEBRON – Tiffany Bichrest tallied the game-winning goal off a feed from Kailey Bubier with just four minutes remaining in overtime to push Hebron to a 2-1 victory over Proctor in field hockey action Wednesday afternoon.

Hebron (10-2) answered a Proctor goal one minute into the second when Bubier netted a goal from a pass by Kayla Chadwick.

Girl’s Soccer
Brewster 2, Hebron 1

WOLFEBORO, N.H. – Elaine Fancy and Marlowe Appey each netted a goal a piece to lead Brewster to a 2-1 win over Hebron in a girls’ soccer match-up held Wednesday.

Fancy scored first 15 minutes into the contest.

Hebrons’ Katherine Cole answered five minutes later to even the score, before Appey scored what would prove to be the game-winner seven minutes into the second half.

Boy’s Soccer
Hebron 2, Bridgton 2 (2OT)

HEBRON – Hebron and Bridgton drew to a 2-2 tie in boys’ soccer played Wednesday afternoon.

Both of Hebrons’ goals were tallied by Oleksandr Romanenko, while two different players, Sean Hynes and Brady Dolan, scored for the Bridgton effort.

Scott McLaughlin made eight saves for Bridgton (9-2-1).

Will Sorkin also stopped eight shots for Hebron (6-3-4).

College Soccer
Husson 5, Mt. Ida 0

BANGOR – Katie Nickerson scored two goals and assisted on one to hel lead Husson to a 5-0 win over Mount Ida Wednesday.

Nickerson scored the first Husson goal midway through the first half when she put home a rebound off of Danielle Billings.

She would score again six minutes later.

Tatyanna Wolterbeek, Shelby Pickering, and Danielle Billings each scored for the Husson win as well.

Leah Drew recorded her fourth straight shut-out, stopping six shots.

Kyle Garvey finished with six saves in the effort.
