AUBURN – Daniel T. Goff, owner of the Goff Agency, was recently presented the 2006 H. Frank Richards Kiwanian of the Year Award by the Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club.

A long-term member of the club and a past president of the organization, Goff has served for several years as liaison between the Key Clubs at Lewiston High School and St. Dominic Regional High School and Kiwanis.

He has also served as chairman of the Pancake Breakfast Committee, which is the club’s major fundraiser, and has overseen a resurgence in income from that event. Funds raised go to a number of worthy causes, including the museum pass program with the children’s departments of Auburn Public Library and Lewiston Public Library, scholarships to graduates of the local high schools and other youth-oriented charitable programs.

Goff resides in New Gloucester with his wife, Maureen, who is an avid supporter of Kiwanis as well.
