SOUTH PARIS – The wedding of Christine Sessions and Brandon Abbott was held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 23 at McLaughlin Gardens. Shirley Boyce officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Abbott is the daughter of Sumner and Janet Sessions of Norway. Mr. Abbott is the son of Michael and Beth Abbott of South Paris.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless satin gown with peridot lace-up back and sweep train. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses.

Melissa Sessions, sister of the bride, was honor attendant, and Christina Thomas, a friend, was bridesmaid.

John Merrill performed the duties of best man for his friend, and Peter Jordan, another friend, was groomsman.

A reception followed at the Norway Armory, after which the couple traveled to Las Vegas for a week.

The bride is a graduate of Oxford Hills High School and received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Wentworth Institute of Technology. She is employed as quality assurance specialist at Munis in Falmouth.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Oxford Hills High School and is employed at Robinson Logging in Massachusetts.
