PORTLAND (AP) – Justin Keller scored two goals and added an assist as the Springfield Falcons beat the Portland Pirates 4-2 on Sunday.

Marek Kvapil and Daniel Corso tallied a goal and an assist for Springfield, while Zenon Konopka did the same for Portland.

The teams were tied at the first intermission after Konopka scored for Portland (9-5-0-1) and Kvapil answered for Springfield. The Falcons (6-8-0-0) took control early in the second period with a pair of power-play goals by Keller and Corso.

After Keller connected for his second of the evening early in the third, Clay Wilson netted the final goal of the game for Portland with 1:16 remaining. Karri Ramo stopped 26 shots to earn the win, while Michael Leighton had 16 saves in the loss.
