Boxberry students visit Norway grove

OXFORD – Boxberry School students recently went on a field trip to Ordway Grove in Norway.

The students’ learning expedition focused on forests and weather. The morning at Ordway Grove was spent collecting evidence of producers, consumers and decomposers while learning how to identify some of the more common trees in the area.

Leaves and needles collected off the forest floor will be used as students create their own tree identification booklets, complete with their own sketches and identifying characteristics.
