BOSTON (AP) – The Boston Bruins recalled on Sunday forward Jeff Hoggan from their American Hockey League affiliate on an emergency basis.
Hoggan will be eligible to play in the Bruins’ game Monday night against the Montreal Canadiens, the team said.
Hoggan, 28, played 13 games for Boston this season, making one assist, before being assigned to the Providence Bruins on Nov. 11.
He played four games with Providence, earning three assists.
Hoggan played 52 games last season for St. Louis, scoring two goals and making six assists.
