STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The wedding of Lisa M. Albert and Michael N. Meehan was held on June 3 at Eisenhower Chapel at Penn State University in State College, Pa.

Mrs. Meehan is the daughter of Marcel and Laurette Albert of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Lewiston. Mr. Meehan is the son of Michael and Teresa Meehan of Johnstown, Pa.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Becky Haskell, friend of the bride, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Kate Meehan and Elizabeth Matarrese, sisters of the bridegroom. Eve A. Albert, niece, was flower girl.

Serving as best man for his friend was Andrew Castaldi, and ushers were Brian Carlson, another friend, and Richard Koval. Aidan E. Albert, nephew, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Atherton Hotel, after which the couple traveled to Europe in Switzerland and France.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of New England in Biddeford. She is a rehabilitation director and occupational therapist.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Penn State University. He is an engineer at Western Refining in El Paso, Texas.
