School parents serve dinner

PARIS – Thirty-six students and seven teachers attended a Thanksgiving dinner at Oxford Hills Christian Academy during Thanksgiving week.

Parent volunteers donated, prepared and served the meal, which was held at the school’s campus at the South Paris Baptist Church, 1 Park St. The meal, which included turkey and all the trimmings, has become a yearly tradition at the school.

Middle school teacher Justin Thacker praised the parents for the Thanksgiving treat. “It was wonderful to see so many parents helping out with our Thanksgiving lunch,” he said. “The school is very thankful to have wonderful parents who care about their children and the school,” he said.

Parent volunteers received gift certificates in appreciation for their work.
