AUBURN – Crystal Marie Nickel and Warren David Small were united in marriage on May 20 at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn. The Rev. Frank Murray officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Small is the daughter of Richard and Gail Nickel of Buckfield. Mr. Small is the son of David and Mary-Beth Small of Livermore.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Judi Sampson, friend of the bride attended as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Jennifer St. Pierre and Megan Hamann, friends of the bride, and Laura Small, sister of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Mallory Casey, friend of the family.

Jason Gibbs performed the duties of best man, and ushers were Aaron St. Pierre and Matthew Veilleux, friends of the bridegroom, and Brian Nickel and Craig Nickel, brothers of the bride. Thomas Casey, family friend, was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at Martindale Country Club immediately following the ceremony. The couple traveled to the Sandals White House Resort in Jamaica for their honeymoon.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Jay High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood special education. She is employed at the Margaret Murphy Center for Children in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and a 1997 graduate of Central Lakes Technical College in Staples, Minn. He is employed at and is part owner of Central Maine Concrete Pumping Inc. in Livermore.

The couple is now residing in their new home in Livermore.
