Oxford Hills remained undefeated and took over sole possession of first place in the Girls Division of the Western Maine Youth Basketball League (Grades 4-6) during the weekend. OH won its fourth straight game, 42-2 over Lisbon. Colleen Stauder sparked the winners with 14 points, Abby Eastman added 8. Katelyn Fowler scored the only 2 points for Lisbon.

AYS of Jay-Livermore lost for the first time, dropping a 42-14 decision to Farmington. Conlogue led the winners with 12 points. Gordon tallied 6 for AYS.

Auburn Rec entered the win column for the first time, edging Livermore Falls 21-18. Mercedes Johnson (7) and Isabella Earle (6) led Auburn. Kailee Newcomb and Emily Keene each scored 6 for LF.

Gabby Foy netted 12 points and Amy Holden 10 as Wilton knocked off Bridgton 38-10. Lexi Crawford paced Bridgton with 6.

North Franklin outlasted Turner 44-35 as Annie Dexter scored 14 and Miranda Smith 11. Mariah Treadwell popped in 19 for Turner. Kelly Pomerleau added 6.

Boys Division

has 2 unbeatens

Mountain Valley and Farmington both ran their record to 4-0 in the Boys Division of the Western Maine Youth Basketball League (Grades 5-6) during the weekend.

Mountain Valley Rec rolled past Lisbon 63-9 as Dylan Akers netted 19 points. Adding 8 each were Ryan Nichols, Sean Murphy and Jacob Theriault. Mason Haley, Quincy Thompson, Kendall Roy, Sam Coombs and Ricky Bard all scored for Lisbon.

Farmington got 19 points from Chad Luker and 12 from Zack Kendall in edging Lewiston Rec 37-35 in a battle of unbeaten clubs. Ryan Rossignol led Lewiston with 15. Donny Agussou and Josh Thomas added 6 each.

In other action, Auburn Rec squeezed out a 24-23 triumph over AYS of Jay-Livermore. Corey Henderson sparked the winners with 7 points. Drew Baker and Brady Innis contributed 4 each. Nathan Hamblin paced AYS with 9. Hunter Kilgore added 6.

Dylan Frechette netted 10 points and Jordan Croteau 9 as Oxford Hills turned back Wilton Rec 46-20. Charlie Martin tallied 8 for Wilton.

Kyle Hewitt and Levi Morin each popped 12 as Turner defeated North Franklin 50-18. Calum Dixon led Franklin with 8. Alex Viles and Colby Wheaton both added 4.
