PORTLAND (AP) – Eric Healey scored two goals, including the game-winner, as the Springfield Falcons snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Portland Pirates 3-2 on Saturday night.

The Falcons (16-14-0-1) held a 2-1 lead at the first intermission. After Zenon Konopka sent Portland (17-9-1-3) ahead 12:05 into the game, Healey collected his first of the evening at 16:28 and Sylvain Dufresne netted his first of the season at 17:04.

The Pirates tied it when Simon Ferguson deflected Ian Moran’s shot into the net with 12 seconds remaining in the second period.

Healey scored the game-winner 15:48 into the third.

Springfield goalie Karri Ramo made 24 saves to earn the win, while Portland’s Nathan Marsters stopped 16 in the loss.
