LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

Awadia Y. Abushaga, 32, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license on Sept. 3, found guilty, fined $100.

Dwayne L. Adams, 35, Lewiston, violating a protective order and violating condition of release on Nov. 25, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to five days for each charge.

Jeffrey A. Alanskas, 41, Oxford, probation violation on the Feb. 23, criminal threatening charge, sentenced to five months at the county jail and probation partially revoked.

Rudolph J. Albert, 62, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on Sept. 27, found guilty, fined $75.

Chad Gregory Alexander, 25, Auburn, operating under the influence and possession of marijuana on May 6, found guilty on first charge, fined $600, sentenced to 12 days, license suspended 18 months, and registration suspended; second charge dismissed.

Dusty Alexander, 19, Mechanic Falls, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 31, fined $300 by default.

Candace M. Allen, 19, Turner, possession of liquor by a minor on Sept. 9, offense committed, fined $200.

Matthew W. Allen, 23, Auburn, disorderly conduct on Sept. 1 and violating condition of release on Sept. 7, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to 24 hours; second charge dismissed.

Jonathan Amadei, 25, Auburn, operating after registration suspended on Sept. 10, found guilty, fined $100.

Jacob Anderson, 27, Lewiston, assault and violating condition of release on Oct. 29, both charges filed with no cost.

Nathan Audet, 18, Turner, failure to stop and/or provide information on Sept. 28, found guilty, fined $75.

Robert J. Austin, 21, Lewiston, fugitive from justice on Nov. 5, dismissed.

Baker Commodities Inc., Los Angeles, Calif., unsafe loading rule violation on Sept. 25, found guilty, fined $250.

Mark Patrick Barrett, 41, Gardiner, stalking and violating condition of release on Nov. 3, both charges sent to jury trial.

Jennifer L. Barry, 31, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on Sept. 5, sent to jury trial.

Paula Jean Barry, 33, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating condition of release on Oct. 7, both charges sent to jury trial.

Charles D. Batchelder III, 60, Freeport, violating a protective order on July 13, found guilty, sentenced to 220 days with all suspended and one year probation.

James C. Beaty, 21, Lewiston, consuming liquor by a minor on Sept. 9, offense committed, fined $200.

Sarah Beauchesne, 25, Auburn, operating after registration suspended on Oct. 11, found guilty, fined $100.

Jennifer D. Beaudoin, 20, Sabattus, assault on July 2, dismissed.

Joshua T. Beaule, 22, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Nov. 10, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Joshua Beaulieu, 19, Lisbon, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and violating condition of release on Nov. 9, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to three days for each charge; and consuming liquor by a minor on Sept. 2, offense committed, fined $200.

Rebecca L. Beausang, 24, Poland, operating under the influence and possession of marijuana on July 13, found guilty on first charge, fined $500; second charge dismissed.

Belinda R. Becvar, 34, Auburn, operating after registration suspended and operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 15, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $250 on second charge.

Normand L. Begin, 43, Greene, violating condition of release on June 6, dismissed.
