FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – The New England Patriots signed former University of Miami running back Quadtrine Hill to their practice squad on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-2, 228-pound Hill had been cut by Houston and Chicago since he signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent last May 4. In four seasons at Miami, he rushed for 253 yards and caught 56 passes for 414 yards and two touchdowns.
