LEWISTON – Lewiston Adult Education will hold interviews for those interested in any of the certificate programs offered during the winter/spring semester.

The Certified Nursing Assistant program is an evening option that provides classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience in preparation to become certified by the state. Interviews are scheduled for Jan. 30 and Feb. 6.

The activities coordinator program, approved by the Maine Department of Education, is a 200-hour course that combines classroom and clinical work to prepare students to develop, plan and implement activity programs at long-term care facilities. Interviews have been planned for Jan. 30.

Individuals looking to build and document skills in office administration have a choice of three certificates: clerical, accounting assistant and medical office support. The programs are designed to give the skills for success in a professional office environment. Interviews are scheduled on an individual basis.

All applicants must have a high school diploma or General Educational Development certificate, will need to take the test of adult basic education and participate in an interview and/or orientation.
