Ungar/Unger update: While we have no further word on why Neil Simon spelled Felix’s last name differently in the Broadway and TV versions of “The Odd Couple,” Wes Nelson of Livermore, Calif., wrote to let us know that “Ungar” is the German word for “Hungarian.”
