Music majors studying at the University of Southern Maine School of Music took the top collegiate places in November in the Maine NATS Musical Theater Competition. The competition – held Nov. 4 at Bates College in Lewiston by the Maine chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing – included five divisions in all, including the lower and upper college levels.
Local winners on the Lower College Division was Alexis Handy of Lewiston, fourth place, a student of David Goulet.
