FARMINGTON – Bonnie Silkman capped off a triple-double with a career-high 22 points to lead Mt. Blue to a 52-48 win over visiting Hampden Academy on Friday.

Silkman added 10 rebounds and 10 steals to complete the rare feat.

Christine Mosher added 18 points for the Cougars (7-4), including a sparkling 10-for-11 performance at the free throw line.

Tanna Ross led all players with 24 points for the Broncos (5-6), who nearly rallied behind five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. Ross had four of them.

Rangeley 40, Vinalhaven 30

RANGELEY – Krista Jamison scored a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards to lead Rangeley to a 40-30 triumph over top-ranked Vinalhaven on Friday.

Angela White added 12 points and eight boards for the Lakers (6-2), who overcame a slow start to score 25 points in the final half.

Amelia Davidson netted a team-high seven points for the visiting Vikings (7-2), while Chelsea Couptill and Brooke Conway chipped in with six each.

Buckfield 46, Forest Hills 20

BUCKFIELD – Junior guard Alyssa Henderson drained 12 points to lead Buckfield to a 46-20 triumph over Forest Hills.

The Bucks (5-2) took a 25-12 lead at the half. Freshman guard Ashlee Hamann contributed 10 points.

Forward Victoria Pease was the leading scorer for the Tigers (3-5) with six points.

Livermore Falls 51, Carrabec 27

LIVERMORE FALLS – Marjorie DeBrosky poured in a game-high 25 points, and eight different Livermore Falls players scored to lead the Andies to a 51-27 victory over Carrabec on Friday.

Caryn Howell added eight points for Livermore Falls (6-4), which shot out to a 13-4 lead in the opening quarter.

Megan Murray led the Cobras (0-10) with eight points.

Morse 64, EL 48

BATH – Sophomore center Beth Suggs notched her third consecutive double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds as Morse sailed to a 64-48 victory over Edward Little.

Senior point guard Kate Ross, who scored 13 of her 16 points in the third quarter, shared scoring honors with Suggs. Junior forward Maggie Smith pitched in with 14 points for the Shipbuilders (8-2)

Brittney French tallied a game-high 18 points for the Red Eddies. Kirsten Prue and Allison Forgues chipped in with 11 points apiece.

Telstar 38, Lisbon 37

BETHEL – Junior guard Bailey Davis had a stellar performance, scoring 22 points and hauling down nine rebounds, as Telstar edged Lisbon 38-37 in MVC girls’ basketball action Friday.

The Greyhounds (4-6) closed a six-point deficit in the first quarter to one as the Rebels took a 19-18 lead at intermission. Junior forward Christy McAuliffe posted a team-high 15 points for Lisbon.

The second half remained extremely tight right down to the wire, as Telstar hung on.

Gould 35, North Haven 31

BETHEL – Seana Siekman hit a turn-around jumper late in the fourth quarter to seal Gould’s 35-31 win over North Haven on Friday.

Kate Roberti led the Huskies (4-2) with 12 points. Michaela Cummings and Siekman had eight each.

Desire Mayo led the visiting Hawks (5-2) with 11 points, and Ashley Hodder chipped in with nine.

Mtn. Valley 43, Mt. Abram 36

RUMFORD – Vanessa Cayer drained 17 points, and Kim Clark led a strong defensive effort and hauled in 10 rebounds to lead Mountain Valley to a 43-36 MVC girls’ basketball win over Mt. Abram on Friday.

Catlin Drury chipped in with 11 points for the Falcons (4-6).

Kenni Norton hit two 3-pointers and led the Roadrunners (6-4) with 17 points, and Logahn Walker added eight in the loss.
