LEWISTON – The wedding of Jessica Landry and Nicholas Wiers was held on Oct. 6 at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Kenneth Dakin officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Wiers is the daughter of Joseph and Irene Landry of Lewiston. Mr. Wiers is the son of Dean and Susan Wiers of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless satin gown in A-line style with beaded appliqués and chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of fuchsia Calla lilies.

A friend of the bride, Diana Lucek, served as honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Nicole Caron, Brooke Crowley, Andrea Dooley, Kristen Lukomski, Beth St. Laurent and Samantha Theberge, friends. Maria Bellegarde, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

A brother of the bridegroom, Matthew Wiers, served as best man, and ushers were Joseph Landry III, brother-in-law, and Capen Gabri, Ryan Guay, Nathan Ouellette, Don Therrien and Richard Wallace, friends. Colby Guay, son of an usher, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy and also received a doctorate. She is a pharmacist at Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Brunswick.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2000 graduate of Southern Maine Technical College with an associate degree in fire science. He is a firefighter for the city of Auburn.
