EAST BOOTHBAY – Michael Moras and Alexandra Poat were united in marriage on June 3 in an ocean view ceremony at Wilson Memorial Chapel at Ocean Point in East Boothbay. Clint Boothby officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Rebecca Poat of Livermore Falls. The bridegroom is the son of John Moras of Livermore Falls and Susan Moras of Livermore.

Escorted by her father, the bride chose an off-white halter style gown and carried a bouquet of light blue and white hydrangea and white Calla lilies.

Libby Poat served her sister as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Elizabeth Moras, Lisa Damon and Annie Lembo.

Brad Boothby served as best manm and groomsmen were Kevin Moras, Rob Beckler and Justin Shoaner.

An inspirational reading was given by Amanda Morello.

Following the ceremony, an ocean theme reception was held at Sprucewold Lodge in Boothbay Harbor. The couple honeymooned at Isle Verde, Puerto Rico.

The bride currently teaches at Shapleigh Memorial Elementary School.

The bridegroom plans to graduate in March with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy.

The couple is residing in Portland.
