Tri-County Mental Health reels in Bass donation

LEWISTON – The Bass Federation has donated $500 to Tri-County Mental Health Services to support its work in the community.

The two organizations are working together to create a family and youth angling tournament to benefit the agency and its work with young people.

Tri-County serves more than 10,000 individuals each year with innovative programs and services addressing mental health, substance abuse, mental retardation/developmental disabilities and autism.

Its philosophy of building toward recovery and sensitivity to traumatic experiences of consumers serves individuals, families and communities in Androscoggin, northern Cumberland, Franklin and Oxford counties. For information, visit www.tcmhs.org.

The Bass Federation is the oldest broad-based, independent, grassroots organization in bass fishing. According to President Ron Herbert, the Maine Chapter is committed to youth development and conservation. For more information, visit www.tbfmaine.com.
