FARMINGTON – Nomination papers for four open selectmen’s spots and two open school board positions are due back at the town office at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, Town Clerk Leanne Pinkham said Wednesday. There is one year left in Mark Cayer’s term as selectman. Cayer resigned in the middle of last year when he moved out of Farmington. Former chairman of the board Mary Wright, who died on Sunday, had two years left in her term, Pinkham said.
Two three-year terms are also open, Pinkham said, because Dennis Pike and Stephan Bunker’s terms come to an end this year.
Pike and Bunker have taken out nomination papers seeking re-election for their spots, Pinkham said.
Also open are two three-year terms on the school board, she said.
