DURHAM – An informational public meeting to discuss bringing a National Bicycle League BMX race track to the Durham-Lisbon-Freeport and surrounding area is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 25. The session will take place at 7 p.m. at the Durham Elementary School gym, 654 Hallowell Rd.
BMX racing will become an olympic sport for the first time in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Contact Kim Mitchell at mebmx@netzero.com for more information about the meeting or track.
