LEWISTON – Mary T. Brooks, 75, of Lewiston, died on Saturday at Montello Manor.

She was born in Lowell, Mass., on Oct. 17, 1931, the daughter of Peter L. and Josephine (Mello) McGuire.

Mary and her husband, Maurice, resided in their home in Lewiston for the past 24 years. She spent many years traveling the country with Maurice, assisting in the preparing of harness racing horses. She enjoyed her dogs and going on road trips with Maurice. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Maurice Brooks; sons, Bill Brooks and his wife, Sandy, of Lewiston, Russell Brooks and his wife, Peggy, of Boston, Mass., Danny Brooks of Haverhill, Mass., Partick Brooks of Worcester, Mass., and Steven Brooks of Haverhill, Mass.; daughters, Charlene and her husband, Rick Bartlett, of Haverhill, Mass., Krissy and husband, Bob Barnaby, of Dracut, Mass., and Brenda Brooks of Worcester, Mass.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
