LIVERMORE FALLS – Marjorie DeBrosky registered a career-high 37 points and led the contest with 18 rebounds to give Livermore Falls the 67-64 advantage over Wiscasset in an MVC girls’ basketball game Monday.

Along with DeBrosky’s double-double, Rachel Ventrella contributed 16 points for the Andies.

Wiscasset was led by Megan Foye with 14 points, while Marissa Hammond added 13 points and seven rebounds. Foxfire Buck and Clarizza Cruz each scored 10 points apiece.

Leavitt 36, Erskine 35

TURNER – Paige Dyer led all players with 13 points and added 10 rebounds to record a double-double, leading Leavitt to a 36-35 triumph over Erskine Academy on Monday.

Mariah Barrett added 11 rebounds, and Morgan Bernier drained eight points for the Hornets (3-7).

Jessica St. Amand poured in 10 points to lead the Eagles (2-8), and Ashley Peaslee chipped in with nine in the loss.

Oxf Hills 65, Morse 63, OT

BATH – Freshman Megan Joyce scored a team-high 17 points, and Oxford Hills sank 11 of 14 free throws in overtime as the Vikings upended Morse 65-63 in a key KVAC girls’ basketball showdown Monday.

Senior Terry Bunce chipped in with 15 points for the Vikings (10-2), which rallied from seven points down after three quarters to overtake the Shipbuilders.

Jill Henrikson led all players with 26 points for Morse (8-4). Kate Ross added 13.

Monmouth 58, Carrabec 30

MONMOUTH – Cortney Barrett scored a game-high 17 points as Monmouth posted a 58-30 victory over Carrabec.

Barrett also had 11 rebounds for the Mustang (11-2), which played a solid defensive game. Brittany Scirica had 11 points and five steals and Jenn Lola contributed 10 points.

The Cobras (1-11) were paced by Makenzie Weese with six points, while Tiffany Gurney and Suzy Cote each contributed five points apiece.

Hall-Dale 38, Lisbon 34

FARMINGDALE – Katie Frett and Veretta Olson scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, to help give Hall-Dale a 38-34 triumph over Lisbon.

Lisbon (5-7) pulled ahead briefly toward the end of the third quarter, but Hall-Dale (4-9) made four three-throws down the stretch to cement the victory.

Renee Moore scored seven points, while Heather Perry, Christy McAullife, and Sam Purcell each registered six points apiece for Lisbon.
