LEWISTON – The wedding of Kelly Leigh Flanders and Mathew Ryan Ciriello was held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 23 at the Bates College Chapel. Sandra Johnson, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Ciriello is the daughter of Joseph and Rachel Flanders of Mechanic Falls. Mr. Ciriello is the son of Anthony J. Ciriello of Saco and Tracy Poirier of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory halter gown, embellished with beads and pearls and with a Cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses with stephanotis.

The flowers were made by Pat Green, aunt of the bride, and the photos were taken by another aunt, Wendy Flanders.

Lacey Damon, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Molly Groves, friend of the couple, Dianne Blanchett, cousin of the bridegroom, and Jessica Ciriello, sister of the bridegroom. Skye Bennett, niece of the bride, and Mariah Poirier, sister of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Anthony J. Ciriello performed the duties of best man for his brother, and ushers were Matthew Hess, best friend of the couple, Roger Gervais, friend of the bridegroom, and Shane Ciriello, brother of the bridegroom. Isaiah Hill, nephew of the bride, and Jordan Poirier, brother of the bridegroom, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston. The couple is planning a trip to New York in April and Florida in June. They are residing in Mechanic Falls.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is employed as a teacher assistant at Toddle Inn Childcare in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is employed for his father at Bugy’s Pest Control in Saco.
