With 1 week left in the regular season in the Girls Division of the Western Maine Youth Basketball League (Grades 5-6), Oxford Hills needs just a final win to finish unbeaten and claim the pennant.

Sunday, Colleen Stauder scored 10 points and Alex Rowe added 8 as Oxford Hills (9-0) defeated Turner 47-27. Mariah Treadwell led Turner with 11.

Wilton (8-1) stayed just a game behind OH with a 44-14 victory over AYS of Jay-Livermore. Amy Hilton (13) and Gabby Foy (11) paced Wilton. Randi Duguay registered 6 for AYS.

Dixfield knocked off Livermore Falls 26-12 as Lindsey Crutchfield scored 8 points. Taylor Boynton’s 6 was tops for LF.

Miranda Smith netted 16 and Annie Dexter 15 as North Franklin beat Bridgton 48-8.

Farmington trimmed Auburn Rec 28-14 as MacKenzie Thompson collected 7 points. Mercedes Johnson led Auburn with 8.

AUBURN – J.C. Concrete has emerged as the lone unbeaten team after 2 weeks of play in the Auburn Rec Women’s Slowdown Basketball League.

Ashley Swett scored 13 points and Michelle Rollins added 4 as the Cement Mixers defeated the Lady Ballers 49-23 . Kelly Brower (11) and Karen Desjardens (5) led the losers.

Old School outlasted Hoop Camp 42-34 as Jennifer Grace netted 8 and Liza Barker 6. Karrie Watson tallied 8 for the Campers. Sharon Philbrook added 2.

Pauline Veinott poured in 19 points to power Young Ones to a 44-24 win over Laskoff Bashers. Erin Demers added 4 points and Debbie Gould 2. Danielle Murphy collected 5 for the Bashers. Sam Howard added 2.
