Dixfield remained the lone unbeaten team in the Central Maine Basketball League (Boys Grades 3-4) Sunday. The Dixies defeated Gardiner 47-27 as Tyler Frost scored 16 points and Matt Irish, Riley Robinson and Nick St. Germain all added 6. Quin Hanna led Gardiner with 8. Brian Dunn added 4.
Cameron Brochu scored 10 and Kent Mohlar 8 as Maranacook edged Turner 31-27. Austin Anderson (10) and Roby Deschenes (5) led Turner.
Hall-Dale squeezed out a 25-23 triumph over Monmouth as Wesley Lapointe and Brian Allen each tallied 6. Ben Bolstridge paced Monmouth with 10. Noah Bates added 6.
Auburn-Lewiston YMCA turned back Winthrop 25-19 as Llewelyn Jensen popped in 8 and Dante Brooks 6. Ben Allen registered 6 for Winthrop. Mario Mencel added 4.
Feb. 4 schedule: Dixfield at Monmouth, Auburn-Lewiston YMCA at Turner, Gardiner at Winthrop, Hall-Dale at Maranacook.
