LEWISTON – Levesque Excavation captured its first 2 wins of the season Wednesday in the B-1 Division of the Lewiston Rec Coed Volleyball League at the Multi-Purpose Center. The Excavators took the first game from Ducharme Masonry 24-22, lost the second 23-25, then took the third 21-17.

In other action, Team Air Force swept 3 games from Downeast Pension to increase its league lead. The scores were 21-19, 21-10, 21-17.

Second place Team Keller dropped 2 of 3 games to South of the Border, 8-21, 12-21, 21-11.

Strout CPA moved into a tie for third by sweeping Mountain Road RV, 21-13, 21-8, 21-12; GE took 2 from Marston Logging, 15-21, 21-17, 21-14; and Maine Commercial Door/Buddy T’s captured 2 from Rowe Builders, 14-21, 21-12, 21-11.
