POLAND – Jeff Brannen of Poland, captured two events at the Moose River Run Skijoring Sled Dog Races held Sunday.
He earned top honors in the Adult Skijoring 1-Dog Speed Class, and the Adult Skjoring 2-Dog Speed Class. His winning time in the 1-dog class was 00:40:08, and for the 2-dog class, 00:30:24. The course was 9-miles long.
Heather Brannen of Poland finished third in the Adult Skijoring 2-Dog Speed Class with a clocking of 00:34:28.
The Brannens are sponsored by Nooksack Racing Supply and Seadog Brew Pub.
The Moose River Run was sanctioned by the International Sled Dog Racing Association and counts towards the International Championship Series for Sled Dog Racing. The event was produced by the Jackman Sled Dog Club.
