AUBURN – Joe Bonneau registered 17 points and six rebounds as St. Dom’s rolled past Old Orchard Beach with a 58-25 victory in boys’ basketball action Tuesday.

The Saints (13-4) blew the contest open in the second quarter by outscoring Old Orchard 24-2 to increase the advantage to 37-7 going into the break. Aaron Allen added 10 points and six rebounds, while Austin Fuller contributed nine points.

The Seagulls’ (2-15) Sam Lewis and Dean Perrone led the effort with nine and eight points, respectively.

Richmond 80, Buckfield 46

RICHMOND – Glendon Kendrick dumped in a game-high 25 points to propel unbeaten Richmond to a 80-46 rout over Buckfield in a late-season EWC boys’ basketball matchup Tuesday.

Eric Nash chipped in for the Bobcats (16-0) with 11 points, while Marc Zaharchuk also contributed with 10 points and eight rebounds.

The Bucks (6-9) were paced by Zack Cowett with 12 points, while John Condon tallied eight and Cy Wilkinson added seven. Richmond held a 43-25 advantage at the half.

Jay 54, Madison 41

JAY – Freshman Austin Clark led all scorers with 20 points and 12 rebounds as Jay topped Madison 54-41 in an MVC hoops matchup Tuesday evening.

Trevor McCourt added a double-double of his own with 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers (5-12).

Jay used an 18-9 run in the fourth quarter to pull away and cement the win. Nick Bourassa chipped in with eight points.

Simon Elias downed 14 points, while Ezra Gourley contributed 10 for the Bulldogs (1-17).

Georges Valley 59, Monmouth 44

THOMASTON – Nate Frisbie had a solid performance with 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals to lead Georges Valley to a 59-44 victory over Monmouth.

Brandon Staples contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Cote Baughman registered 10 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block for the Bucs (12-5). Georges Valley came out strong in the second quarter to post a 30-12 lead at half.

The Mustangs (6-11) were led by Dylan Reny with 12 points and Ronney Hobson with 10.

Livermore Falls 52, Telstar 44

BETHEL – Davis Mercier scored a game-high 14 points and Mike Durrell added 13 to lead the Livermore Falls Andies to a pivotal 52-44 road win over Telstar on Tuesday.

Zack Keene chipped in with 10 points for Livermore Falls (11-6).

Louis Thornton and James Kimball each scored 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and Ryan Kimball also finished with 10 points for Telstar (7-10).

Wiscasset 70, Lisbon 40

LISBON – Curtis DeCosta scored 26 points Tuesday night to lead Wiscasset to a decisive 70-40 victory over Lisbon in MVC basketball action.

Matt McRae added 14 points and Nick Hinkley chipped in with 10 for the Redskins, who led 40-17 at the half.

Scott Eck led the Greyhounds with 13 points, and Tim Roy had 12 points and hauled in eight rebounds in the loss.

Dirigo 75, Carrabec 35

NORTH ANSON – Colby Knapp lit the board for a game-high 27 points Tuesday to lead Dirigo to a 75-35 rout over Carrabec.

The powerhouse Cougars (16-1) jumped out to a 20-6 lead in the first quarter and were never challenged. Spencer Berry chipped in for Dirigo with 17 points, while Thomas Knight added nine.

The Cobras (2-15) were paced by R.J. Pinkham with 10 points, while Alex Myers added eight.

Lincoln Academy 62, Oak Hill 51

NEWCASTLE – Devon Peaslee led three Lincoln Academy players in double figures with 16 points to lift the Eagles to a 62-51 triumph over the visiting Oak Hill Raiders.

Stephen Coopersmith and David Prior each added 12 in the win for Lincoln (14-4).

Kory Vanek led the Raiders (1-16) with 12 points and eight rebounds, while Bronson Drewry and Tim Levesque each contributed 10 points.

Edward Little 72, Oxford Hills 50

AUBURN – Troy Barnies led all players with 19 points and 13 rebounds as undefeated Edward Little posted a 72-50 victory over Oxford Hills in a KVAC boys’ matchup.

The Eddies (17-0) jumped out to an early lead, and never looked back. Kyle Philbrook contributed 13 points and six assists, while Cam Leary added 10 to the win.

Brandon Moffet scored 13 points for the Vikings (5-12) effort, while Tom McGee and Ben Gooddall each added eight points apiece.
