AUBURN – The Flynn Brothers of Auburn performed well at the Mount Snow Snowstyle Open held earlier this month at West Dover, Vermont.

Earning a share of the $3,000 purse in the slopestyle competition was Shea Flynn, 17. He placed second in the Pro Division, laying down a highly technical run on the 7-element course that consisted of jumps, boxes and rails. His feature trick was a “cab-7 double nose grab” on the final hit.

Younger brother, Devin, 15, ventured into the pro class as well, finishing a surprising fifth. His “270-on 450 out” on the trap box helped prove that he could compete in this division.

The brothers are studentts at Edward Little High School and will be competing in further slopestyle events as the season progresses.
