HALLOWELL – Casey Poussard pushed accross the game’s first goal on assists from teammates Jordan Bourgoin and Jon Roy midway through the first period to send Lewiston to a 6-0 triumph over Cony high school hockey.

Lewiston (8-8-1) goalie Dylan Labonte turned away 14 shots for the shutout.

Poussard ended with a pair of goals and an assist, while Roy added a goal and another assist in the victory. Robbie Leeman, Matt Letourneau and sophomore Joey Klemanski rounded out the scoring. Cony (7-9-1) goalie Nick Claudel stopped 16 shots.

St. Dom’s 7, Gorham 3

GORHAM – Richard Paradis notched a hat trick to power St. Dom’s to a 7-3 victory over Gorham.

Gorham sohpomore center David Gushee scored a pair of first-period goals to give the Rams an early 2-1 lead. Cody Keene answered for the Saints (7-8-1) to even the game at 2-2.

Gorham opened the third period with a goal, but Casey Parker responded with an equalizer for the Saints. Paradis put the Saints up by one with his second goal of the contest, before sophomore Dustin Oberlander improved the margin to two. Paradis scored again, and sophomore Ben Randall put the finishing touches on the victory.
