KENTS HILL – The Maranacook Area Youth Hockey Pee Wee team earned 2 more victories during the weekend to increase its record to 13-9-2.
Maranacook trimmed the Fairfield Renegades 8-4 Saturday at Sukee Arena in Winslow. Alex Ingram, Ian Palmer and Chris Stanley all popped 2 goals. Tony McIver and Kilton Webb also lit the lamp. Assists went to Webb (4), Ingram (2) and Stanley. Cody Martin, Jacob Faukner, Kalib Beindtchez and Luc Lawrence scored for Fairfield. Drawing assists were Beindtchez, Shelby Cutten and Beau Grenier.
Sunday at Kents Hill, Maranacook skated to a 6-1 win over the same team. Palmer netted 2 more goals. Scoring 1 each were Sam Bryant, McIver, Zach Bessette and Stanley. Credited with assists were Stanley (2) and Palmer. Faulkner tallied the lone Fairfield goal, assisted by Grenier. River Mullan was the winning goalie.
Webb earned the “Team Playmaker Award” with his 4 assists and a goal during the first game.
