LEWISTON – Lewiston High has extended its lead in the Southern Division of the Maine High School Bowling League.

In matches held Feb. 1 at Augusta, Lewiston beat Erskine 18-1; Messalonskee edged Edward Little 10-9; Cony trimmed Lawrence 17-2; Monmouth blanked Waterville 19-0. The Regional Individual Championships are slated for Feb. 15 at Spare-Time Rec in Augusta; State Individual Championships, Feb. 16 at Augusta; Team Regional Championships, March 1, Augusta; State Team Championships, March 3 (tentative) at Family Fun Lanes at Bangor.
