LEWISTON -Spiked & Dangerous moved to within 3 games of first place in the B-2 Division of the Lewiston Rec Coed Volleyball League at the Multi-Purpose Center this week, sweeping 3 games from league-leader Janet McCarthy, Realty. The scores were 21-18, 21-15, 21-13.
In other action, E.J. Drywall took 2 from Maher Builders, 16-21, 21-7, 21-17; and Fontaine Team captured 2 from Deadline Busters, 21-20, 18-21, 21-15.
Feb. 22 schedule: 6:45, Maher Builders vs Fontaine Team; 7:45, Spiked & Dangerous vs E.J. Drywall; 8:45, Janet McCarthy, Realtor vs Deadline Busters.
B-1 Division: Wednesday’s matches in the B-1 Division were postponed due to the storm and will be made up at the end of the season.
A Division: In A Division action Thursday, Bio-Processing inched closer to first place by taking 2 of 3 from the leader, Peru+2, 14-25, 25-20, 25-21. In the other match, CWT Builders grabbed 2 from Motley Crew, 25-17, 25-22, 22-25.
Feb. 22 schedule: 6:30, Peru+2 vs CWT Builders; 7:30, Bio-Processing vs Motley Crew.

Boxcar Children 3-0 over Margarita’s, 25-15, 25-18, 25-19; Capsawn Designs 2-1 over Hunt’s Hill, 25-17, 25-13, 15-25; Right Stuff 2-1 over D.C. Electric, 25-17, 20-25, 25-11.
There are no matches slated for Feb. 19 (Presidents’ Day). The league will resume on Feb. 26, as follows: 7:40, Boxcar Children vs Right Stuff; Capsawn Designs vs D.C. Electric; 8:40, Margarita’s vs Hunt’s Hill.
