AUBURN – J.C. Concrete defeated Old School 59-37 last week to remain unbeaten a fifth game in the Auburn Rec Women’s Slowdown Basketball League.
Ashley Swett poured in 26 points for the winners. Lynn Girouard added 23, including seven 3-point shots. Erin Davies led Old School with 12. Jen Grace added 9.
Young Ones maintained its second place position with 2 victories, the first a 39-22 triumph over Hoop Camp. Amy Lemieux led with 14 points. Elaine Keene added 10. Katie Morin paced the Campers with 10. Karri Watson added 4.
Young Ones also trimmed Old School 49-43 as Pauline Veinott tallied 14 and Keene 13. Tasha Bell contributed 5. Davies tossed in 17 for Old School. Jessica Philippon and Betsey Sibley added 7 each.
